« This is the second year we have chose to stay here. Love the convenience of the river right off the deck. Plenty of room for family to enjoy and stretch out. The house is conveniently located close to grab groceries when needed. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Only 25 min trip to Bennett Springs to book float trips or fish. « We had peaceful getaway at the Hix Lake and Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped, generously stocked kitchen. Its location on the private lake is serene with no other houses in sight.The real show-stopper was the outdoor areas. We enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around porch looking out at the lake and listening to the birdsong. The hot tub was a relaxing way to unwind. Fishing at the private lake was a lot of fun.
