'We really enjoyed our stay at Sol y Luna. The location was excellent. The Shores development is growing and buildings are popping up all over. The development is nice but the buildings that are a few years old are in need of maintenance. We did find it strange that we were only provided two rolls of TP for both bathrooms and one roll of paper towels. There was no soap for the dishwasher. Also there was no salt and pepper which is not something i usually think about bringing when I rent a home....

'We loved this unit! Everything's you need and a wonderful deck! Glitch in check-in, that was very quickly resolved. A bonus that was nice was having big bottles in the shower of bath soap, shampoo and conditioner! Beware the extra bedroom sliding door likes to stick shut. We had to rescue my Dad a couple of times! Also, sometimes it was a bit of a struggle with the keypad not working, but not a deal breaker! Last of all, if you have two big vehicles coming, just know that one or both will have...

'Home was very accomodating, bigger inside than it looks! Loved the outdoor areas especially: covered patio with plenty of seating, and the fishing pier with its lights was fantastic! Caught lots of trout. Definitely plan to do this again.'

The provided beach items and extra amenities were extremely helpful with our stay. We really enjoyed the large amount of space to hang out and get some rest. 'Overall we had a nice trip. Location was good, close to food, shopping, and South Padre beaches. Home is very small for 3 adults and 1 dog. Beds were not so comfy but hot tub was a nice added bonus.'

'The cottage was surrounded by its own little tropical oasis, that made feel it very private & secluded. The home provided a comfortable setting for our stay, and we enjoyed the central location for birding the hotspots on SPI & the mainland.'

'Not your place to stay if you fear cats 🐱, we had to be watching the cats all the time or they would eat our bait and 🐟 , to have an afternoon bbq was a hassle, cats wanted to climb on the picnic table, pier is nice and spacious, it has a sink but no light or running water, and could use more lighting in "the park".. best part check out was at 1pm!'

'This property was great for a couple. Beware there is a hotel / bar directly behind. So if you plan on sleeping early, there may be some noise. Other than that - location was perfect! So much to walk to. The AC temporarily froze, but after leaving it off for a few hours it worked again.'
