Absoluut geen 5 sterren hotel. Vergane glorie. Geen enkele service. Kranen kapot, douche deur die loshangt, vloerbedekking waar de rafels aan hangen, geen enkele reactie op verzoeken aan het personeel, ontbijt bijzonder karig. Slecht dat dit hotel wordt gepresenteerd als 5 sterren maximaal 3 sterren.

Een stijlvol en aangenaam verblijf
The Bentley is een "chique maar niet stijf" hotel, gelegen in een rustige buurt, 3 minuten lopen van metrostation Gloucester Road, waar de Picadilly, Circle en District lines je snel op de belangrijke plaatsen brengen. De aankleding is antiek met veel marmer, ingelegde meubels, kroonluchters en gestoffeerde wanden. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! Het ontbijt is qua keuze niet spectaculair maar wel van prima kwaliteit.

Mooi hotel
Een mooi hotel in een rustige buurt. Zeer ruime kamer op de bovenste verdieping (zolder). Alhoewel het een zeer ruime en mooie kamer was kregen we wel wat het gevoel dat we naar de zolder waren verbannen.

Hotel was lovely and staff great on check in and stay, service was hugely let down by the breakfast which was cold and inedible as been left in a hot box for to long (the heater the box had then gone off) waitress didn’t seem to care or know what to do. When we asked if there was fresh food we’re eventually bought 4 rashers of bacon despite sending away plates with a full English untouched. Had better breakfast in a Travel lodge. The manager very apologetic afterwards but doubt we will stay there again.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at. We chose this because it was convenient for the Royal Albert hall and surrounding areas. This stay was for my birthday and the hotel gave us complimentary macaroons and drinks which was a nice touch . Staff very helpful and friendly. Good that we could store our luggage before and after check in . Loved the jacuzzi bath!

Nice hotel very comfortable and pleasant with high ceilings it’s very quiet and we used the gym each morning, we stayed 2 nights but never had breakfast, however the Afternoon Tea was really nice and tasty. We were upgraded from Queen to King room and it was spacious, we could not use the bath as the plug was leaking, fortunately we had a shower in the bathroom.

Excellent experience but wifi needs to be upgraded
Excellent hotel, conveniently located, comfortable, clean, with very good service. The only downside is that the wifi is very poor which can be an issue if you need to download files or pictures for professional reasons.

What a complete and utter disappointment!! 5* i don't think so this is a historic rating and is not current at all. Rooms were absolutely tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment, staff were very rude and unwelcoming. We were told the hotel was at maximum capacity and we saw 1 person during our 2 night stay so this is not true at all. We demanded the room change and said it was the new room or nothing, as it was our 25th wedding anniversary we reluctantly took the room change it was better but way off being acceptable. All in all i would recommend that the Bentley hotel is one to stay away from unlike the old days when it was simply beautiful. Terrible experience and ruined our 25th wedding anniversary completely. We both have had to visit our doctors with tight chests and he advised more than likely dust allergies. AWFUL!!!!!

Don't stay here
They gave us a queen-size bed when I specifically reserved a king size. When they moved us to a room with a king size bed, it was a smoking room. Someone had smoked in the room recently and it smelled badly of cigarette smoke. There was an ashtray in the room. The central AC did not work, so there was a very large and noisy portable AC machine in the room, with lots of bright lights to keep you awake in the night. You had to keep the window open for the AC vent. The amenities had been used and not refreshed. Yuck. This hotel is beautiful but needs significant updating.

There seems to be a problem with this property inot comparable with the stars given to this property . When my guest arrived , the AC was not working. They provided her with fans which did not work as it was too hot. My guest provided them with a £100 deposit at check in They claimed she did not and refused to give it back , although it is their policy to get the amount from the guest before handing the room key. There is not much choice good wise and the little they have is well overpriced. .Overall very disappointing. Will not book again.

Very mediocre property. Overrated and overpriced. Nothing even remotely close to a 5-star hotel as listed on Expedia. Those rating criteria are highly questionable. The room was listed as having 3 person sleeping capability. In reality l, its only for 3. The staff offered me to purchase a folding bed instead, but said that housekeeping was gone for the day to help with that. Second, AC was barely working And I had to keep the windows open. Third, there was a construction next doot and it was quite noisy with construction noise plus loud music from the workers. They should have posted a warning about it. Overall, very underwhelming and misleading.

good property for easy stays in london, i can see it was 5 stars previously! Now more of a 3/4.. The only thing I’d say is that it’s quite behind in style, everything’s really old and there’s a lot of marks on the hotel room walls, also a lot of dust. The shower only goes from a 20 degree setting upwards to 80!! Not sure how that’s aloud, it nearly scolded me. This is what I’d say to the people who own it.. do it up when possible because it does have potential in the fact it’s aesthetically beautiful, it just needs work. Especially the shower situation and certain taps that are loose. Thankyou x
