'I’ve stayed at every type of place Fredricksburg has to offer and this was one of the best. It is in an extremely convenient location steps from Main Street but it was so quiet and peaceful it felt like it was miles out of town. Several deer ran across the creek and through the backyard. Everything was very clean.'

'This place was clean, neat, and so quiet and peaceful. There were deer and you could hear so many different birds while sitting on the patio. It is close enough to town to do things in Fredericksburg, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet country. The host was fantastic. Far enough away to give us our privacy, but close enough to respond to any questions we had. We loved this place and will definitely go back!'

'We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.'

'A unique experience, great hot tub, we didn't have hot water for shower that night. Saw the breaker box later and had some hot water for kitchen in the morning, we checked out early. Kitchen plenty utensils. Good wine, star studded skies, quiet by 10:00 pm. Hauling wind during the night and I am a light sleeper. Heater works well, love the skylight dome above. Beds were clean and comfortable. '

'We spent the Memorial Day weekend out in Fredericksburg. We absolutely loved the cabin and just how close it was to EVERYTHING we wanted to do. Will definitely book again.'

'Quiet, peaceful cabin! The cabin itself seemed more spacious than the pictures showed, plentiful hot water, beautiful views out of every window! The property owner was very helpful and communicative, even offered recommendations for nearby activities! We utilized the fire pit to make smores and had an amazing time. '

'Everything was great, nice hot tub and shower. Our AC stopped and had to contact the manager. I did not hear back from the manager for awhile. Upon my second message, she got back to us, and came over and fixed the problem.'

'Very cute and cozy little cabin. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The bed however was very uncomfortable and the floor was dirty. I kept picking up lint and hair on my socks and shoes. It was a great place to stay while we visited Fredericksburg.'

'This stay definitely exceeded all of our expectations!! The cabin is wonderful!! It’s simple, yet elegant, inviting, cozy, beautiful, and very romantic. It’s decorated perfectly and feels like you are at home. We only went into town to eat as we wanted to spend most of our time at the cabin. Our host was so easy to work with and had a sign, a card, and a bottle of wine waiting for us to make us feel even more welcome!!
