« Ana’s Cottage was just what we needed for an escape. It was peaceful away from traffic and people. The landscape was beautiful and we enjoyed many naps on the porch with hummingbirds and bees whizzing by. The cottage decor was sweet and we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. We regretted only having one week and not two. »

« Lovely home with lots of cozy touches! Our favorite room was the very large screened porch with a dining table, comfortable wicker chair arrangements and two anti-gravity lounge chairs. From here we listened to the sounds of the creek and enjoyed amazing firefly shows every night. (We visited in July.) It was magical! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. « Excellent response with communication. Cute and clean. Both beds are queen or full size (seemed small), so keep that in mind. It was just my husband and me so we slept in separate rooms. Would rent again if in area. »

« We loved the sunset facing back porch and the indoor gas fireplace. The hosts were fantastic, they sent details about the place far ahead of our stay. The house was well equipped with things like a dishwasher, plenty of paper products and towels, smart lock that worked well, fully functional kitchen and a great AC system »

« Wonderful place to stay and we will be back! Exceptionally clean, thoughtful, and comfortable. Get there early to explore the property, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge pond, and beautiful scenery. The hot tub was heated when we arrived which was great after a long day of hiking. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into making this a wonderful and relaxing experience! »

« The only downside is the LP gas chargrill needs it's inside parts replaced or entire grill replacement. If your not into grilling then it's a mute point. Great place to enjoy the mountains of NC. Very nice accomodations, all you need to bring is your toothbrush. Super nice being beside the creek and very accessable to the trails of Old Fort. »

« The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine.
