'The property itself has charm, but a few issues really impacted our stay.
Most notably, we found two roaches in our room and they were German cockroaches, not the "palmetto bugs" staff tried to attribute to recent palm tree trimming nearby. To their credit, staff did acknowledge that explanation wasn't really an excuse, but the resolution fell short: we were told housekeeping wouldn't address it until checkout (which was the next day), meaning we had to deal with it for the remainder of our...

'The lobby is gorgeous. The room was clean and large but disappointing in decor. The hallways had an odd odor. The grounds are well maintained but the gardens off our balcony were tidy but not very pretty. Bell hop on arrival very helpful. Person who brought up luggage not so much. Great service & drinks at pools. Prefer Scottsdale Princess.'

'I felt like the room was a dungeon. I was on the first floor and the patio faced the courtyard so you couldn't have the drapes open and the front door with the other window faced the other courtyard so I couldn't have that drapes open because people would be looking in the room. So the whole time the drapes were closed, and the room was very dark and depressing. Also a lot of construction going on at the site.'

'This is a wonderful hotel. This was our second stay here. It is the only hotel we intend to stay at whenever we are in Phoenix. The grounds, building, rooms, staff, food - all top notch. Special shout out to LaDonna at the front desk - Thank you!!
Forgot to mention, the beds are the BEST in our opinion and the rooms quiet!
