'Our family of five (one being our doggy) enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and spacious for us. The view was incredible! We all enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, along with some great fishing! We enjoyed the ice cream at Sweeties Pies down the road. We were too busy on the water to pull ourselves away to explore Pleasant Mountain, but a very nice neighbor down the street told us there is a great trail off of Mountain Road if we wanted to hike the mountain. '

'Great dog friendly house. Didn’t get to use beach much as we have friends who live on the lake as well and that’s where we spent most of our time. Would definitely be back for a longer stay to really use the property. Screen porch was awesome for coffee in the morning and the view was perfect. '

'While we were not there very long we did enjoy our stay! The inside was rustic and beautifully decorated and the outside was whimsical with flowers galore! We would definitely love to stay again if ever in the area!'

'We are 3 friends that have known each other for most of our lives and decided to go away for our 60th birthday year! Portland didn't disappoint. This house was exactly what we needed after exploring the area all day. All the comforts of home. A quick drive to Portland and many other areas. Was nice to come back to a place where we could relax after a long day. Good communication and easy to get to. Would 10/10 stay here again.'

'Real new place - we were some of the first to stay. Driveway a little hard to spot at night on arrival. Great beds and pillows. beach passes for some of the nearby beaches included. Quiet, clean, and peaceful.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It’s very spacious and private. The master bedroom on the first floor allowed our kids (9 and 12) to have the upstairs all to themselves which they loved. The cottage was stocked with everything you (or even your dog!) could possibly need. It’s very centrally located to the walking trails, center of town, and Albee beach (beach pass provided), which is an amazing town beach. Julie was a very attentive host.
