'Bij aankomst ziet het er fraai uit. Receptie is ook ok. Echter: in de gangen ligt overal vuil. Het zwembad kan niet gebruikt worden. Ook de kamer ziet er op het eerste gezicht goed uit en ruikt uitbundig naar schoonmaakmiddel. En ook hier valt de tweede aanblik tegen. Vloerbedekking op veel plaatsen beschadigd, een lamp bij het bed doet het niet, in de deur van de badkamer zitten 2 grote gaten en de voegen bij het bad zijn niet allemaal even schoon. Een beetje vergane glorie zou ik...

'The room was immaculately clean. We loved the atmosphere. The kitchen was stocked for guests to help themselves to individually wrapped bagels, there were bottles of water, choices of tea, coffee, oatmeal and baskets of snacks in several locations. I especially loved how the history of the inn was kept while still introducing the comfort of modern showers. A++'
