'We’ve been going to the mountain for 47 years. This by far was the best place to stay very easy access; air was cooled up on top my shirt mountain and the company has a beautiful pool, hot tub and sauna I would recommend this place exponentially more than any other place'

'Everything was as described. Great value with a beautiful view. It is quite a climb to the condo so be ready to take quite a few flights of steep stairs. Other than that it has everything we needed for a weekend of hiking. WiFi worked well. The deer grazing around the property were a neat experience. '

'We loved this property. The check in process was so easy (which was appreciated after a long drive). And after walking into the property the first thing you see is that view! Beautiful and better than the pictures. The property was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is clear that the owners put a lot of thought and care into making this property feel like a home… and it does. The welcome book that is there for guests has a lot of great information including...

'Nice and quaint condo. Very clean and nicely appointed. We were 2 couples and had plenty of room. The only recommendations I would have is that the owner remove some of the dishes in the kitchen and have one cabinet empty for guests to use. Would highly recommend.'

All the other guest and residents we met were very friendly. Saw many deer that came within 10 ft of us. I will definitely return. I was able to unwind and get some R&R. 'Enjoyed Memorial Day weekend in Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. The beds were comfortable and the condo was very clean. The gas fireplace is a cozy addition and the large deck was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Very quiet, relaxing time!'

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
