'The hotel is impressive. It's fun to stay in a castle.The breakfast buffet is extensive and the dining area is beautiful. The hotel has its own parking lot and you will need a car to get around this area. There isn't easy access to public transportation.With a car, it's just a 10-15 minute drive to Dublin City Center, Howth, or the Airport. I recommend visiting Howth, if you have time. It is a village on the coast with a beautiful cliff walk and several pubs, restaurants, markets and boutiques.'

'Dinner is good.
But no directions from the T2 towards the hotel, I have walked the whole airport to get there, only to discover that they have a shuttle bus that runs 24h and was parked outside each Terminal….
Stupid me, but little bit more info/direction could have prevent it :-)'

'Just a warning, the snug is behind the bar owned by the same family. There’s a small driveway at the end of the bar a hairstyle place and some other little shops. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms were huge and the bathroom is very nice and all brand new. In the morning we did have some toast and tea and it was nice to have the availability of fruits and vegetables and yogurt and so on for the free breakfast the host was very nice.'

'We stayed in two family rooms with 6 kids and 2 adults altogether. This hotel has been in business since 1747 and we were thrilled with the history, the coziness of the hotel, the staff friendliness is second to none. And the breakfast was incredible. We were pleased. Obviously renovated for modern conveniences, but I felt like it was a vintage boutique inn and I loved it and would definitely stay again.'

'This is a very peaceful and relaxing hotel. The staff could not be more helpful. Spacious room and a super comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely with a very good menu and was cooked to order. I would highly recommend staying here. '
