'Unknown to me at the time, this is a famous hotel used by well-known rock-and-roll people and their roadies. We didn't see any, which was fine, but it adds an interesting flair to the hotel with the rr motif. The Desk said things are different when there are roadies all over at 4am. We stayed on weekdays. I imagine weekends are raucous. All the amenities were good. Used the hot tub. Morning breakfast was good and typical of decent hotel breakfasts. Several recording studios were seen around...

'We arrived less than an hour before the official check-in. With all our luggage. The room was not ready, ok. But we could not leave our luggage behind for the remaining 45 minutes. So everything back in the car… Breakfast offers enough options and is fine. Dinner and shopping options at the doorstep, very convinient. Clean room. We got a room facing Hwy 30, which turned out to be quote noisy. A large a/c or generator grille next to the window did the rest. Off course we could have asked for...
