On a tout aimé. Endroit parfait et relaxant. C’est un bon endroit pour faire une pause durant un long voyage.

Très bel appartement et accueil très chaleureux
Le barillet de la porte de l'Appartement était HS à notre arrivée. Les gérants et le personnel de l'accueil se sont confondus en excuses et offert boissons et gâteaux pour patienter 45 mn. Notre patience a été récompensée dès l'entrée dans le très bel appartement très confortable. Literie impeccable, cuisine très bien équipée. Très belle soirée. A recommander sans réserve. Attention les appartements devant être libérés à 10h difficile de profiter de la piscine (10 livres par appartement) ouverte aux familles à partir de 10h seulement. Nous avons pu en bénéficier tout de même par dérogation et gratuitement...partant à 10h45.

We only stayed the one night, and we ate at the restaurant which was really lovely. We had a one bedroom apartment in the courtyard. It was huge. Really comfortable bed and a lovely outdoor seating area. We will definitely go back as we didn’t get chance to use the pool or properly explore the grounds.

This place exceeded our expectations. We were passing through and we rented a two bedroom apartment for our group. It was absolutely perfect and felt luxurious. Two great modern bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry, large living areas, two bedrooms. Absolutely beautiful lodging in a lovely area. We all wished we could have stayed longer. It is indeed a resort. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Oh- they even have towel warmers!

Most quaint castle manor in the country, with the ducks, and sheep, walkable area with a pond, just a perfect location to run away from it all. I loved the contactless checkout, easy parking, and frequent phone updates. We got a huge apartment facing the front, which I believe was a free upgrade, amazing! If only the spa was open all day, it would be great, two 45-minute slots in a day, when all hotel guests come at once is not ideal, but didn't spoil the break.

Thurnham Resort Studio Apartment.
We had a great time at Thurnham. We had a studio apartment and arrived to a double bed when we needed twins, due to my mistake in booking through a third party. Reception were brilliant and the staff came to sort that out quickly. The room was very clean, the pool and changing areas were well looked after. Everyone was kind, friendly and very helpful. The Beauty Retreat onsite was excellent. We didn't visit the bar or eat at the Hall but other guests we spoke to were very complimentary. The text messages inviting us to the Saturday night Quiz and reminding us of checkout were a lovely touch. We really appreciated their demeanor and we will definitely return and recommend.

I would recommend Thurnham Hall to anyone wanting to stay in a lovely old house in the middle of pleasant countryside. My 1-bedroom apartment had everything I needed. I had a really nice few days.

We stayed 4 nights and not sure what to expect from the description. But it has been the most wonderful experience. The house itself is beautiful, reception was quick to check in. Our apartment was easy to locate on the grounds and just amazing. So spacious and clean. Literally couldn't fault one part. Swimming pool and sauna spotless and the man attendant was so kind and helpful. Did the quiz that was put on in the main hall. Drinks and bar area lovely. Definitely a 5* and would recommend anyone to stay there.

Fabulous stay, clean, warm, comfortable accommodation. Pool area lovely. Bar and restaurant wonderful. Walks along the canal at the back of the hall into Glasson and Lancaster a bonus. I can recommend the beauty room for treatments.

A fantastic place set in rural location with the option to eat and relax in the bar/ restaurant, or in your luxurious apartment or maybe a mixture of both. The swimming pool and sauna was an added bonus

I have been staying at Thurnham Hall on a regular basis over the last 18 months and it has been good . I left a laptop charger behind last week , plugged into a socket . I realised that within 24 hours and informed the management. Unfortunately the charger had vanished. No one else had stayed in the flat after I left and the staff apparently has never seen it . I am really disappointed. Chargers do not vanish into thin air !

Gorgeous location: cosy, warm, well-fitted and well-kitted apartments combined with a really warm welcome. Time spent in the (very clean ) spa was so relaxing and John, who worked in the spa while we were there, was an absolute gentleman. Loved every minute!

The apartment was very large, clean and family friendly. The on-site restaurant was also very nice with a great menu. We would have scored 5 stars but the washing machine did not work, the room had a stale smell and the heating could not be controlled so was either too hot or too cold. Parking was also very limited near our apartment so we were blocked in one morning
