'This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. 'My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...

'Beautiful historic manor house that was tastefully decorated. Excellent value for money comfortable stay. Friendly staff. It's a privilege to have access to this beautiful historic home. Although it was old, it had a fresh interior & was in very good condition. Our bedroom was large, we had a very comfortable bed and lovely spacious ensuite bathroom. 'Magnifique accueil d'Isabel, la maison est très bien, très propre et très calme. Chaque question reçoit une réponse sympathique, Isabel est à l'écoute et au service de ses clients, elle a toujours le sourire et est très disponible. L'accès au village est un peu périlleux, mais la vue sur la vallée vaut bien qu'on s'en donne la peine !! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir car la vallée du Douro est magnifique ! Ne pas manquer la croisière sur le Douro depuis Regua, situé à quelques kilomètres...

"Mooi hotel boven in de bergen, midden in het Dauro wijngebied. Hotelier is tevens wijnproducent van hele mooie Portugese wijnen, deze kun je ook in hotel proeven en uiteraard kopen. Wij hadden een gratis upgrade naar een zeer mooie suite. Mooie badkamer, loungeruimte en goed bed en balkon. Restaurant met goede dinermogelijkheden. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel die je het zoveel mogelijk naar je zin willen maken. Alles ziet er supernetjes en schoon uit. Absolute aanrader in een mooi en rustig wijngebied. 15 minuten rijden van Lamego en 30 min. Van Pinhao."
