« We stayed here for the Maggie valley hillbilly jam. The house was cozy just like the pictures. The host was wonderful to work with. The refrigerator was not cooling or freezing appropriately when we got there and she was very quick to come check it out and bring in another small one for us. Just a couple of things to consider… like I said I have no complaints what so ever just something’s that caught my eye but nothing that would make me not stay here again! - the beds are SUPER soft… I think...

« This property exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice, in our opinion. It’s perfectly clean, with a Christmas tree in every single space. It’s an easy 20 minute drive up to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for the Polar Express and was such a fun place for our 2 y.o. And 6 y.o. to add to the Christmas magic of the weekend. « We thuroughly enjoyed our stay in Maggie Valley. The property is just as it's shown in the photos. The views are outstanding. The home was well equipped with everything you could need. We stayed for 10 days and never ran out of things to do. The deck with the hit tub and fire pit were a huge bonus. We were able to spend time in town which is in walking distance and also travel a short distance to explore other local areas. We had such a great time and appreciate the home immensely. »

« The property is well-maintained, clean, and has excellent facilities all around. Our stay accommodated well for dogs, toddler, kids, teens, adults, senior citizen, and wheelchair individual. The drive up to the house is a bit steep (as expected in this mountain area), but worth it for the gorgeous view. It is nearby to plenty of activities, restaurants and shops. Communication with owners was great, even warning of bear sightings. I would highly recommend this property! »

« Superior experience! Their is a space for everyone - bird watching check out the screened in porch; time to yourself, the sunroom off the main bedroom is for you; cooking with the family, find yourself in the roomy kitchen; game night, perfect table in the main living space.Our family will definitely be returning to this cozy place! »

« Great house for larger families or multiple families. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Loved the porches and patios. Kitchen was well appointed and had lots of space to work in. We didn't get to use the fire pit since it was nearly 90 degrees while we were there but it would have been fun »

« Nice house with a beautiful Mountain View! Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. The s’mores kit was a nice touch, too. Highlights of our stay were hiking in DuPont forest to Three Falls, Lexington Glass Works in Asheville, and downtown Waynesville. All in all, we had a great trip. »

« Three generations of my family (ages 17 - 87) spent a week at Ridgeview Retreat. The house is large, spacious, well-appointed, clean, comfortable and has spectacular views of the mountains. I appreciated Racquel's attention to detail and the comprehensive binder she has created with information about the house, nearby attractions, and dining recommendations.
