« Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel our reservation at the hotel, which we did by telephone four days before our expected arrival. When the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, we asked for a raincheck, which they didn't even answer. »

The rooms, facilities and overall standard of the resort were excellent, but the real standout was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made the stay feel even more special. Would definitely recommend Low Wood Bay and would happily return. »

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Very good food. Staff were friendly and room was great. Quite a few bugs in the room and behind the curtains but this might have been because of time of year. The drying room was great. Overall a great stay and I will come back next time I’m in the area. »
