Lodges in Lake District National Park

'This is my 2nd time staying at the Station Lodge. You can't beat the price, the location and both times I've stayed I had nice large rooms. It's literally across the street from the train station, and as this is the last stop on the train you literally don't hear any sounds from the train. AND the trailhead for the Orett trail is also literally across the street. This trail spiders out to many other trails. There are a ton of restaurants, shops, pubs and the awesome grocery store with a cafe...

'Op zich wel redelijk, maar de schoonmaak en het onderhoud mag voor het geld dat gevraagd wordt echt wel beter. De afvoeren in de keuken waren vies, er lag nog beschimmeld brood in de keuken. De badkamerdeur wil niet dicht (los scharnier). De deurmat was echt smerig.'

'Lovely converted barn, well equipped and close enough to explore the Lake Windermere area. Excellent correspondence from the hosts. '

'Never received the check in details 24 hours before so couldn’t risk taking the family and I had to do a 5 hour round trip to go get them, we didn’t have any hot water for the first 24 hours. The mattress in the main bedroom was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on and after the first night slept in the lounge, also there isn’t a table so they provide 4/5 small tables to eat off but 1 of these had 2 missing legs and another’s legs were about to fall off. This might be ok for a couple...

'Bijzonder net en compleet verblijf, inclusief 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Comfortabele verwarming en alles superschoon. Het staat op een vakantiepark met een wat eenvoudig zwembad, ook een beetje viezig. Verder een pub met Engels vermaak. '

'We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in dit prachtige huis. Alles wat we nodig hadden om er een geslaagd verblijf van te maken was voorhanden. De omgeving is erg mooi en er is veel te zien en te doen in het Lake District. We kunnen het verblijf in dit huis alleen maar aanraden. '
