'A truly beautiful property. A very comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast was fantastic. Really nice touch that you could order a glass or bottle of wine to your room. A bed and breakfast stay with sheer glamour. '

'This is a delightful property with a lovely host. It isn’t anything flash but if you’re looking for quaint and original then this is perfect. It is an older house so has the creaky floor boards and matching decor. Bathroom is clean and newer. Slices were provided on arrival and a beautiful English breakfast included the next morning. Was able to go for walk down to the nearby lake and take in the surrounding beauty. Would be a great place to base yourself for exploring the lakes district...

'Dit zou een 4-sterrenaccomodatie zijn, en volgens de prijs die we betaalden mocht dat ook wel. De accommodatie is gedateerd, badkamer met jaccuzi is oud, geen mengkraan maar een oude hot/coldkraan die moeilijk te regelen viel. Dunne muren, het leek alsof de gasten uit de aangrenzende kamer in onze badkamer stonden te douchen, om van de ruziënde kinderen nog maar te zwijgen. Extra betalen voor de parking, terwijl alle dagbestedingen verplaatsing met de auto vereisen, is niet fijn. £10 per nacht...

'This was a really great place to spend the night on my way home. The room and bathroom were lovely. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Dog friendly. Great location to get on and off the motorway. It was still quite quiet though. '

'Very nice Bed and Breakfast. The proprietor is very kind and service oriented. The single room was spotless, comfy and nicely decorated. Well stocked tea and coffee options in the room. There is even more in the aisle if you somehow run out. Onsite parking was nice to have. '

'What a beautifull and very cosey hotel with lovely staf members. We loved our big family room with sea view. We loved the bar and the diner and breakfast. All served nu lovely people. We made some walks in the Lake District. Most beautifull and sometimes challeging. Thanks for everything. '
