"As a returning guest at Les Étincelles hotels for the third time, we unfortunately noticed a decline in the overall experience. We appreciated the room upgrade, and the location remains excellent—perfect ski-in/ski-out access for early and active skiers. The rooms are cosy and welcoming, although sound insulation could be improved as noise from neighbouring rooms is noticeable. The ski room is practical with heated lockers, but lockers are not secured and there is no visible surveillance. The bar and second restaurant are pleasant, offering good après-ski cocktails and solid Savoyard options within the half-board formula. However, several aspects need improvement. Breakfast variety and quality are more limited than before, and presentation feels basic. While dinner shows effort, too many ingredients seem pre-frozen or preserved compared to previous stays. It is also unclear that items like eggs or French toast can be ordered at breakfast. Staff are friendly overall, but internal communication appears inconsistent. Some team members seem inexperienced, and we encountered several mix-ups with transport, reservations, and spa requests. The spa facilities are below expectations for a 4-star hotel. No towels are provided (guests must use room towels), which is not ideal for hygiene. The hammam is underperforming, and the pool area needs better maintenance and refurbishment. We enjoyed our ski week, but will likely look elsewhere next time for a higher-quality experience."

"Prachtig huis, alles heel goed geregeld. Vragen aan Gilles werden zeer snel beantwoord en op de laatste dag was Gilles een grote hulp om nog een taxi voor ons te regelen om naar het station in Landry te komen. Advies taxi eerder reserveren. Schoonmaakster Celine zeer aardig en alles perfect in orde. Achter het huis loopt een pad waar je naar Montchavin kan lopen en terug. Erg steil dus niet met je ski's en skischoenen te doen. Om naar de piste te gaan heb je een auto nodig en ben je er in 5 minuten.Wij hadden een locker bij intersport in Montchavin gehuurd dus als je met meerdere personen bent kan je daar je ski's en skischoenen daar achterlaten en bv terug lopen via het pad 15 minuten of met de auto terug, 5 minuten.Huis is van alles voorzien in de keuken en heeft een prachtig uitzicht.Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen."

"Charmante chalet met een goede ligging. Mogelijkheid om na 100m te stappen rechtstreeks naar de piste te skiën. Bij terugkeer van het skiën wel nodig om bochten opwaarts te stappen naar chalet, maar dit is natuurlijk geweten op voorhand. Steeds goed en vlot contact met zowel de eigenaar als de uitbaatster mogelijk. Chalet heeft alle nodige basisvoorzieningen en is goed onderhouden. "
