"As a returning guest at Les Étincelles hotels for the third time, we unfortunately noticed a decline in the overall experience. We appreciated the room upgrade, and the location remains excellent—perfect ski-in/ski-out access for early and active skiers. The rooms are cosy and welcoming, although sound insulation could be improved as noise from neighbouring rooms is noticeable. The ski room is practical with heated lockers, but lockers are not secured and there is no visible surveillance. The bar and second restaurant are pleasant, offering good après-ski cocktails and solid Savoyard options within the half-board formula. However, several aspects need improvement. Breakfast variety and quality are more limited than before, and presentation feels basic. While dinner shows effort, too many ingredients seem pre-frozen or preserved compared to previous stays. It is also unclear that items like eggs or French toast can be ordered at breakfast. Staff are friendly overall, but internal communication appears inconsistent. Some team members seem inexperienced, and we encountered several mix-ups with transport, reservations, and spa requests. The spa facilities are below expectations for a 4-star hotel. No towels are provided (guests must use room towels), which is not ideal for hygiene. The hammam is underperforming, and the pool area needs better maintenance and refurbishment. We enjoyed our ski week, but will likely look elsewhere next time for a higher-quality experience."

"Prachtig huis, alles heel goed geregeld. Vragen aan Gilles werden zeer snel beantwoord en op de laatste dag was Gilles een grote hulp om nog een taxi voor ons te regelen om naar het station in Landry te komen. Advies taxi eerder reserveren. Schoonmaakster Celine zeer aardig en alles perfect in orde. Achter het huis loopt een pad waar je naar Montchavin kan lopen en terug. Erg steil dus niet met je ski's en skischoenen te doen. Om naar de piste te gaan heb je een auto nodig en ben je er in 5 minuten.Wij hadden een locker bij intersport in Montchavin gehuurd dus als je met meerdere personen bent kan je daar je ski's en skischoenen daar achterlaten en bv terug lopen via het pad 15 minuten of met de auto terug, 5 minuten.Huis is van alles voorzien in de keuken en heeft een prachtig uitzicht.Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen."

"Handig dat je vanuit het gebouw zo de winkelstraat inloopt en verder de skipiste op. Zet de auto wel ondergronds in de parkeergarage anders moet je met flinke sneeuw de auto uitgraven. Door de layout van het gebouw moet de 2 verschillende liften nemen om bij de piste uit te komen. Geen echte inkijk vanuit andere gebouwen wat wel fijn is. Hele krappe/kleine wc en badkamer (eigenlijk bijna niet te doen voor lange mensen). Advertentie is voor 6 personen en dat kan theoretisch ook maar zoals bij eigenlijk elk appartement in Frankrijk moet je dat absoluut niet willen. Inchecken was makkelijk met het sleutelkastje. Hele kleine keuken. Als je in het 2 persoonsbed met stapelbed erboven slaapt heel voorzichtig omhoog komen anders stoot je je elke keer tegen het stapelbed. Parkeerkosten buiten 59 euro (2026) en wifi 39 euro (2026) moet je wel rekening mee houden. Ook als je het zelf niet meeneemt of niet zelf doet hoge kosten voor handdoeken, theedoeken en beddengoed en schoonmaakkosten."
