The last 8 years we have been going to mostly Lanzarote in February or November. This is was our third time on Fuerteventura and we had a great time. We loved the villa in general. Some points exceeded our expectations and some didn't/ In the end it's all a matter of taste and what you are used to.
The pro's. First of; we loved the location. It's at the end of a quiet street in a gated residential community. It was easy to find and all provided instructions were clear. Both the inside and outside area where spacious enough for family of four.
Our kids loved the hammock, playing golf on the green and relaxing or playing with the provided balls. Of course the Jacuzzi was a giant pro, and one of the reasons we booked it, because February can be chilly, especially in evenings. It is big enough for 4 and can easily fit 1 more.
All rooms where big enough and also especially the kitchen are nice and big. There are plenty of windows, which added to the spaciousness. The roof terrace was a nice bonus. We really enjoyed the views and sunsets!
For the con's I would say it's fair to look at the entire package, meaning: the price is really fair for what is offered. The outside area is great and in good shape, the inside is spacious and decent, and the Jacuzzi is great.
For some, Corralejo centre can be a long walk, but we kne that before we booked, so no con.
The biggest downside for us was the smell of smoke in the entire house, including the main bedroom. Since we hate smoking this was a discomfort. There are non-smoking stickers everywhere and of course the weather is nice enough to smoke outside. On the other hand; this is something we assume we cannot blame owners for and we had plenty of good weather, so we could manage with doors and windows open.
We also found the parking space a bit small, even for a small car, so be careful when backing up into it. The mountain bikes were rusty and all had flats. The provided pump was broken unfortunately. Some sun beds on the roof terrace could need replacing. The black seats where also broken and standing in a corner with two old boilers.
To summarise, we had a great stay in a spacious and comfortable villa in a nice and safe area. It's not in Corralejo centre, but if it were it would be more expensive. Don't expect everything to be brand new, but it will more then suffice. The outside area is just as lovely as in the pictures!
