We loved our space in La Jolla. Close to the beach to hang out, watch the surfers, and catch a sunset!! The apartment itself was perfect. Just enough space. The kitchen had everything you needed, and we really appreciated the Brita filter filled and cold upon our arrival. Someone took our parking space. Management was very helpful and offered us an alternative spot. Loved it!!
Stayed in LaJolla on Gravilla st from 16-21 March (6 days 5 nights). Very charming pet friendly one bedroom with sofa, full kitchen and bathroom. Parking is available on the street and one dedicated spot in an alley behind the house (tight but manageable as we only used it once for several hours. Construction was going on farther down the street but still managed to park nearly in front of where we were at every time (we got lucky I guess lol). Things we did while we were there: Toured the USS Midway, went to Ocean Beach dog beach (1,000% recommended), ate at The Taco Stand, drove up PCH all the way to Malibu, and went down to the beach which is literally a 5-10 minute walk every day with our fur babies. I would definitely stay again. Great communication if any issues came up. Would definitely stay again.
It was great for us . Very nostalgic. Convient. Nice neighborhood. Quite a bit of construction, but didnât bother us. Would be nice to be able to see out into courtyard. Doors need some repair.
Former San Diego resident so I knew where to stay for the best beach and this is it! Parking was easy (idiot-proof!!) itâs a walkable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, and the beach is safe for joggingâŠ.well, the sidewalk anyway, the actual beach has a widely varying tide. General San Diego advice: stay out of the ocean unless you are extremely good in open water.
