Secondly, while waiting for his reply we walked around the house to the front door and found a water disconnect notice from the city. He reset the access code and we got in. Walking in the neighborhood, I felt safe and the views of the river were beautiful. And the Waterfront river walk was only a few minutes away.We went to Portland each day and was pleasantly surprised at the quick commute and grateful to stay in a quiet neighborhood out of the busy city.We even enjoyed a day trip to the ocean. »

« Check in process was seamless. All the bedrooms are upstairs, and they are good sized. I will have to say the king size bed in the master was extremely comfortable! The very big downside of this house is that is next to a very busy street. I’m a light sleeper so I could barely sleep the first night… However, we moved the fan from one of the other rooms into the master bedroom and created white noise and we were able to sleep quite well after that.
