'This is the second time we have stayed here, as it’s perfect for our family get togethers. We had 3x family groups accommodated with plenty of space inside, good mix of sleeping options, good kitchen and play area outside for kids. Walking distance to lake and town. We’ll be back again and would definitely recommend it to others.'

'We had an amazing stay at the Retro Retreat! The location next to Lake Taupo is absolutely stunning and made our trip even more memorable. The weather was lovely as well. The batch house was incredibly nice, tidy, and well-maintained. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, especially the basic amenities and the lollies for the kids—they loved them! The location is very quiet at night. It’s less than 5 minutes to the lake, which was perfect for us. The kitchen windows offers nice panoramic view...
