Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Iโve never shared a room with more than 2 before & with bunk beds but my 1st experience was very pleasant & joyful. It was just before NYE available hotels were limited never mind the high costs for even 3*! But itโs NYE!
I was pleasantly surprised & happy all the way during my 6 night stay. Having thought Iโll only stay for the night coz of late arrival on the 29/12. Reception staff were helpful & friendly. Rooms were cleaned well & beddings changed daily. More than enough facilities for bathroom/showers - never had to wait. Location was perfect! About 10-15 mins to the main beach, stepping out the bldg lots of shops, restaurants, chemists incl 7/11 shop in every few mtrs distances. Iโm happy I didnโt have to pay ยฃ100-200+ a night or more with what Iโve been seeing when I was surfing the web.
I met some lovely girls globally & at times going out to dinner with them. Guests were courteous, polite & interesting to chat with as most were intelligent newly uni grads or in gap years. Have exchanged contacts w few. Although the bldg is in front of main road did not hear any noise. The back rooms are overlooking the cliffs.
All in all I left very happy & content & will stay again.
Iโm booked in advance at hotel in Chiang Mai recommended by a friend. If I extend my stay - Iโll sure will try again a hostel and see if my first experience equates the next!! If so = I can travel even more coz these gives me more budget for flights & other costs associated w Travel/Exploring! ๐๐ค
