« L'hotl est propre et le personnel est tres polie. Les chambres sont perites et confortable. Le probleme vient surtout du restaurant qui ne sert que de la cuisine vegetarienne. Le petit dejeuner est typiquement indien, sauf pour des toasts, petit croissants et petits muffins. Tous le restent est indien, epice et vegetarien. D'autre part, les chambres sont vaporisées d'un insecticide, qui m'a occasionne une tres forte toux. j'ai demande que l'on me change de chambre apres avoir conclu que c'est ce...

« Niharika i Kolkata ligger i gåafstand fra Park Street- området med to små parker og den fremragende restaurant Oh Calcutta lige i nærheden. Samtidig er man ikke langt fra Maidan og Ballygunges kulturliv. Hotellet ligget på en støjende gade men det hørtes kun fjernt på vores værelse. Personalet er helt usædvanligt serviceminded, fin og billig restaurant og room service. »

« Decent stay. Breakfast is not great but will do. You have to walk outside to get to the breakfast area so dont go out in your slippers, especially if its been raining. (when it rains, water collects in the outside area) Walls are on the thin side, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure you have ear plugs. Overall, its good enough given the price. »

« Mayur Residency is a nice, clean place in the heart of Kolkata 5 minutes walk from New Market and 10 from Sudder street. All people were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable albeit with a strong, noisy AC. The area is quite noisy too and the rooms are not well insulated, my room was not on the street side yet I could hear loud horns and sounds from parties late in the evening. All in all good price for value. »

« I really liked this little budget hotel. It is in a fantastic location in Kolkata within walking distance of all kinds of coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Staff are friendly and courteous. They have a cute little cafe attached to the hotel that had great food and was always busy. All day breakfast plates were especially good. It is basic, but clean. Great value for money! Would definitely stay here again. »
