'Older hotel adjacent (within walking distance) to Kodiak Airport, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean if slightly dated. Breakfast bar was basic but edible. No complaints. Thank you.'

'Some rooms have no view, and we have had to change for a better one, without any problems. The hotel is very close to the Harbour and a few minutes downtown. Easy parking too. Good restaurant (breakfast and dinner). It was not our first stay in this hotel and if we visit Kodiak again, we surely try to stay there! '

'Rented this home which was next door to our daughter’s house for a family vacation together. The home was well equipped and comfortable. Communication was wonderful and the home sits on the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, which is great for children. Thanks for a great stay!!'

'Lovely stay at Flying Bear.The two story townhouse was spacious, comfortable, and stocked with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay.Host was attentive and responded quickly to questions.It’s about a mile out of town, good walk on a nice day, but about 10 taxi on rainy days. Don’t use Uber or Lyft on the island, easily 3x more expensive than an old-fashioned cab.Recommend!'

'This was the exact vacation rental that I was looking for. Looking over the channel, watching the seals and listening to the buoy bell ring as the ships went by created a serene and relaxing atmosphere with our morning coffee. Thank you for being so accommodating with my early arrival. Wendy was excellent in extending her willingness to help us with anything that we needed during our stay.
