Budgethotels in Ko Phi Phi Don

'We betaalden voor een Garden Bungalow werkelijk het dubbele van een 4* hotel in Phuket (beide in augustus 2014). We vonden dit veel te veel, zeker naar Thaise normen. De douche was vuil en de voegen van de tegels waren beschimmeld, net zoals het douche gordijn (deze werd na het melden hiervan wel onmiddellijk bevangen). 'We where staying in an apartment with a vieuw pn the garden. Overal, it was nice but our shower only gave boiling hot water. When we told the staff she said she would look at it but when we returned to the room it was still the same. I went back to tell her that and she responded with “ you can call the reception (where i just was) if ot is still the same (wich i just told her was the case) and someone will come and fix it. 'This property gives you the bare necessities, and not much more. The view is excellent, and you have to climb a lot of stairs if you’re staying in the higher up cottages. 'De bedden zijn echt kei hard daar moet je van houden. De airco hangt op een vervelende plek maar met een handdoek ervoor ging het prima. De locatie is top, net buiten het drukke gedeelte en juist overal super dichtbij. Locatie is netjes en voorziet in alle gemakken. Prijs - kwaliteit is prima. Ontbijt aan zee (bar hoort bij hotel) zou echt nog beter zijn. '

'Dieses Hotel (wenn man das überhaupt Hotel nennen kann) ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Es war so enttäuschend, dass wir uns für ein anderes Hotel entschieden haben. Der Bungalow hatte keinen Strom und keine funktionierende Dusche (Wasser ist nur aus dem Boiler geflossen). Für den Preis von fast 30 Euro eigentlich eine Frechheit. Leider war das einer der wenigen freien Unterkünfte (welche in unser Budget passt) auf Koh Phi Phi.'

'Check in process was really frustrating, got moved from one location to another, would have been good to have known this from the start. Nobody at the reception desk ever, really difficult when you need tissue paper or even during checkout, waited 15 minutes until someone arrived.
