'Great location! Bar has a very nice patio area. Lovely dinner restaurant attached. It would be good to be able to use that patio without having to order drinks sometimes. Hot tub was out for maintenance. Amenitis are good except the soap, shampoo etc are installed on the walls and requires a lot of strength to squeeze shampoo etc out. I really disliked that. How about reverting to a pump type access.'

'This was my husband's and my first time in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Hollis was a nice hotel, especially our room; it was quite large for two people, so we enjoyed the extra space. We ordered room service while staying, and the food was quite good, so check out The Cannery. The only fault of the hotel was that the fitness room/gym was not that impressive; it only had a few cardio machines and free weights. We have been to hotels that have had so much more. Overall, nice hotel.'
