'Con and Marlene are natural hosts. They keep a beautiful, clean and spacious home. My daughter was ill while we stayed with them and they were genuinely concerned and shared some remedies with her!! Their kindness is priceless! They have a peaceful property that made us feel right at home. The location is situated just right for the day teips to local tourism sites and finding hidden places! '

'My family of four really enjoyed the house. The location to the park and town center were very convenient. Easy walking distance to both. The traditional home had a nostalgic feel while having all the modern amenities of a newer home. (Including very nicely updated bathrooms)The back yard and gardens were amazing. We made fires in the cosy little mini cottage. Nice way to end the evening. If you have a family or group, I highy recommend this place vs a hotel.'

'Das mitten in Wiesen gelegene Haus ist neu renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Am Morgen erwachten wir mit Vogelgezwitscher. Hinter dem Haus konnten wir Fasane beobachten. Über den Anfahrtsweg zum Haus hoppelten Kaninchen. Das Kaminfeuer brannte bei unserem Eintreffen schon. Die sehr freundlichen Besitzer, die ca. 300 m entfernt wohnen, haben uns mit Milch und Eiern von glücklichen Hühnern versorgt. Gerne zeigten sie uns ihren Bauernhof mit Rindern und Schafen, Enten und Hühnern, einem...

'This cottage was perfect for our stay. Donal was a great host, made sure we had everything we needed. His mother met us at the property when we arrived to show us around, and she made fresh scones for us as well. This is in a great location that's quiet but also not far from sites. Would 100% stay here again!'

'Het huisje was uniek. De keuken was fijn. De bedden waren goed. De jacuzzi was heeerlijk! Het was netjes maar wel iets muf, dat komt door het oude huisje zelf. Nadeel was de slechte wifi en dat het warm water 2 keer ' op' was, of dat de boiler niet goed werkte. Dit is opgelost toen we dit meldden.'

'Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!'

'The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay.'

'This was an amazing find! Super comfortable bed, loads of hot water in the shower. Its small but so well designed and laid out. Kudos to William! Easy to walk around Killarney and nice and quiet for when you are done. Happily stay again and recommend to anyone to try it out. '
