'We stayed for two nights at Drift House in Port Fairy and had a somewhat mixed experience. 'Nice stay in Port Fairy in the hotel. Very flexible with dinner even while I was a bit late. Room quite good and comfortable. Only drawback was that working people were working on improvement of a terrace and that was a bit noisy in the morning, but quite sure when the work is done the facility will be even better. '

'When we arrived the receptionist was talking with a guest, we weren’t even acknowledged, the conversation went for nearly 5 minutes, not a good start. Our room was lovely until my husband laid down in bed and I went into the bathroom, the bathroom fan has been placed in the cavity just above the bed and was vibrating the whole wall. 'Fantastic location opposite main shopping strip and Maccas. Very pleased to see small touches that make the stay comfortable. Eg, curtains were attached to side of window frame so lights at night dont bother us whilst sleeping, night light in bathroom, plates, cutlery and microwave for easy meals. Toaster. Key access was easy. Although close to main road the room was quiet. Smart tv a bonus. All in all, a pleasant stay. '
