'Myself, husband and our two teenagers had a good stay at the cottage. The condition of the place is excellent. All beds were comfortable. Great living room/dining room layout, plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen size perfect, great for preparing meals in, everything you could need. Outside patio very nice for breakfasting in the sunshine!This is our second stay in the property and we'd heartily recommend it.'

'We wanted a quiet, rural retreat in a character cottage and this place totally delivered. It may not be for everyone, but we knew what we were getting when we came. The house was built in 1710. The cottage, with its thatched roof has all the character you could ask for. The kitchen and bathroom are modern, well equipped and the sitting area is comfortable. 'A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay'
