'The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. '

'Definitely a good hotel, but for the price (€330 a night) I would expect more, such as coffee&tea making facilities, minibar, aircon, swimming pool/spa. Breakfast not in line with the hotel’s rating.'

The rooms were wonderfully appointed, bathroom was spacious with modern fixtures and amenities. Breakfast is offered in the beautiful wine bar connected to the hotel. The breakfast spread had lovely fresh fruit, varieties of meat, cheeses and breads, as well as eggs/bacon to order.'

'This hotel is a gem. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. Easy to park on-site, or nearby. The bed and pillows are top notch and luxurious. The hotel amenities (restaurant, bars, cafe) are high quality and serve delicious food. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We are very glad we chose to stay here and definitely recommend it.'
