'Our 4 day / 3 night anniversary stay at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort was extremely disappointing from start to finish. On our very first morning, we woke up to a flooded hotel room. Our clothes, luggage, and personal belongings were soaked. Instead of immediately helping resolve the issue, the staff gave us a hard time when we requested assistance getting our clothes and luggage dried. We were promised a new room right away, yet it took nearly 8 hours before we were finally moved....

'The oceanfront views are excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Comfy bed and nice balcony. Renovated bathroom with oversized tub but challenging entry/exit which could be resolved with handle assist. Great parking and awesome pool with waterfall. '

'Room was too outdated. Staff were fantastic, Didn’t have to use the hot tub and spa. Parking charges is ridiculously expensive although knew that per booking. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day to start our day and had a great time mainly relaxing by the pool and walks on the beach. '

'The resort is self is old, but the location is awesome and most of the people that work. There are very friendly except for one gentleman who is extremely rude. They really need to have their rooms a little bit cleaner.'

'Property is a great place and location, unfortunately they made changes that now include a per day parking charge, which was not published at the time the reservation was made. The parking is not anything spectacular as it is and we have stayed here many times before with no charges for this and really no improvements were noted at this time. Maybe this is not a great deal to many people but when you buy a package with everything paid up front, I expect no surprise charges like this. Shame on...

'Good location and nice grounds. Kitchen and washer/dryer were helpful features. The hotel is one of the stops on the Hanalei shuttle route. No elevator to the third floor and no AC. The receptionist had difficulty finding my reservation.'
