'This is a very old property. The apartment has been cosmetically upgraded, but the infrastructure is poor. We intentionally booked a place with two bathrooms but had only one working bathroom for one night (shower failure) and one working toilet for all three nights. The property manager was very responsive but the toilet issue could not be fixed during our stay.The apartment is lacking in cleanliness. 'The house is wonderful. If you like old houses or antiques you will love this. It is small, so I would not recommend it for more than a couple. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved the quiet area and that it was not in town but close enough to Brenham for convenience. The house is very clean and well stocked with linens, cooking utensils, basic pantry items. The fosge is small though, so if you want to cook you may need to grocery shop frequently. 'This little apartment enclave was beautiful. A pool, patio, and garden area in the middle of the buildings was a wonderful place to sit in the evening. And the lovely smell of jasmine blooming was truly heavenly. We appreciated the outdoor grill and used it to cook our dinner one evening. The location was perfect for us. The beds were great--large, comfy, and well-appointed. Suggestions for improvement:1. We had two roaches we caught in the apartment and removed. Maybe more outside spraying?2....
