« Hotel was centrally located near the Kanawa Bus Station/Hells Pools/food steam restaurant. 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel was clean & has an onsen! Tatami rooms w/a kitchen, tiny bathroom (ship size). It is an older hotel, but it was perfect for us. The young man running the hotel was so nice and pleasant. « Kunisakiso Ryocan was lovely. We ended our trip in Kyushu here, and it was very relaxing. We get to book a private bath, and the family bath is a first come first serve, so we split that between my dughter and I in the family bath whie my husband took the private bath - no bathing suits allowed. They also have a huge public bath, but my daughter would not have anything to do with that. After a few very heck days, our two night stay was a much needed rest. « We didn’t know what to expect but were very happy with our stay at the Rex. It’s very clean, modern, great design and has an excellent indoor/outdoor onsen up on the top floor with an amazing ocean view. We loved that you had to take your shoes off at the entrance of the large and lovely lobby floor and go to our room in slippers. And there are also great public onsen nearby. Parking was included and there was a lot of parking spots very close to the entrance. »

« Great hotel. As super as the name implies. It is 100 meters away from the train station. The hotel is well constructed, smart and easy to check-in. The hotel staff was very helpful. Shoutout to the young male receptionist who spoke very good English. The room was very clean and large. The onsen was the best part. It is free to access, very clean, relaxing. The staff helped us to find a restaurant with vegetarian options (I recommend Jinde, down the road from the hotel). »
