« This was our third time booking this home on VRBO. We always enjoy our stay here, and this time was no different. It’s a very cozy home to stay in. We never spend much time here throughout the day since we always come up from Texas to visit family here locally, however we are here overnights. The beds are very comfortable, and it’s very spacious and quiet. They are pet friendly and since we never travel without our dogs, it makes it very nice to book here. We plan to return again next Spring. »

« The owner was very good at communicating. She made sure that the air matress we needed was already pumped up and made up before we got there. This was a huge added help for us, because we ended up getting in super late. The place was peaceful, clean, and gave a country vibe. I highly recommend this place. »

« This property was just what we needed in terms of size for our group of 4 adults, and proximity to all the places we like to visit. It’s situated very close to some great hiking areas and wineries along the trail. The bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with all our needs, the place was very clean and comfortable, and communication was easy and very quick with Steve. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future. Thanks again Steve! »

« We were in town visiting family. We enjoyed our stay here. The shower had great water pressure. The kitchen was stocked well. The backyard sitting area was enjoyed by all. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality. »

« We loved the privacy of the dead end road, and we felt like our kids were safe to play outside while we enjoyed the beautiful view from the back porch. The cabin was perfect for our 2 families, plenty of seating in the main room, the eating area, and the outdoor area. We also loved the location, very close Ferne Cliff State Park and not too far from Giant City State Park for hiking. We hope to stay here again! »
