'It’s cliche but this is a little slice of paradise. Very clean & well appointed. We loved sitting by the fire enjoying the stunning views. This property is in a quiet location & we unplugged & got back to nature. Our little dog Milly had a ball exploring the garden. The large bath & sauna were an absolute treat. We will be back. 'Our stay was wonderful. Caught in a storm, we had to spend most of our time inside, enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and a nice view of water birds and free-roaming cattle.'

'Clean room, appreciated the fact it was double brick with solid walls between rooms. We had a family room, and the metal bunk beds were a little noisy (squeaky) when the kids moved/rolled over. Our room was at the top of the stairs, so loud conversations from the entrance foyer carried up to our room (this continued until 1.30am). The room had a small fridge, a filled water jug and a kettle with tea/coffee facilities, as well as a bar heater to heat the room.'

'Lovely clean room, friendly owners who loved to chat with us. They cooked a beautiful breakfast as well. The main bed was wonderful, but my travel partner said the fold out couch was not quite so comfy.'
