The ONLY complaint i have is that they must have their temps set wrong in the pool room and the pool temp. It was like walking into a suana in the room and the pool water temp was as hot as a hot tub. No lie! Due to having the grandbabies visit we swam anyways but swim long and the gurls kept getting out and cooling off by standing ubder the shower in cold water. Lol Breakfast was great and way more options than the typical continental breakfast.
The toilet was dirty, the dishwasher was broken and smelly, and there were nats everywhere. The staff was very friendly the management picked a good team. The lady at the front desk was nice and apologetic about the room. Needs better housekeeping staff.
Room had a damp/mold odor that caused me not to feel well/get a headache. Requested to switch rooms but was told they were completely booked. They gave me a bottle of Febreeze to mask the odor and said Housekeeping would come and clean, but they never did. I bought a plug in wall air freshener and cleaned the garbage disposal with Dawn dish soap because there was no cleaning products provided. The filthy garbage disposal was the source of the odor. Will not return to this property. Pictures of garbage disposal attached, including the paper towels used to clean it out. It was gross - the stopper and inside the actual garbage disposal.
We have stayed at this property and others in Battle Creek for 7-10 day stays 2-3 times/year over the past 5 years as we have family in Battle Creek. This property really needs remodeling. The rooms (we stayed in 2 different rooms this stay due to an incredibly loud ice machine adjacent to Room 119 during the first night of our stay) and found that the shower grout in both rooms was mildewed (no excuse for that). The bathroom door was cracked and poorly repaired in the second room. Overall the rooms looked dingy. The breakfast used to be above average during past stays, but the quality has declined as well. Considering that there are two new hotels under construction only a few hundred yards away, we will not be staying at Townplace Suites during future visits to Battle Creek.
Les points faibles : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
I was not impressed by the clerk who checked me in. He didn't explain anything. Only asked for my name and driver license. Didn't explain anything about a hold of $25 per night that would be returned once checked out. The clerk that checked me out was awesome. She did a great job. The room wasn't to bad. However we did have a room with a kitchen in it. I was disappointed that it was not stocked with basic needs of utensils. There was no forks and no spoons. Personally if I need to go back will not book this hotel again.
Very clean, spacious. They're housekeeping staff must be awesome. Front desk could've been better. They sold me a drink that was expired by 5 months. But the hotel itself was awesome
Very understaffed. Asked for room cleaning and they never came, then asked if we could at least get clean towels and toilet paper and they said we had to come get ourselves because no one else was working.
Not a bad hotel but if youâre bringing a pet know you will pay an extra $150. We booked online and it did not state the fee for a pet but it was a pet friendly hotel. We have a 7lb dog and our total for the night was $310. Definitely way more than we were expecting. If I would have known in advance I would have looked into somewhere else.
WiFi login needs to be addressed. Had to go to the front desk to get access. Hotel is definitely ready for a remodel. It's starting to look run down. Also junked cars in the parking lot is not a good look.
