Recently reinovated stone-tower!

Originally built as a four-storey Πύργος (tower) in 1100! Around mid-1800s, following king's Othon call, the Πύργος was cut in half in an attempt to control the ferocious resistance of the inhabitants who would be fortified inside the tall-thin Πύργος and would make impossible to conquer. What remained from the Πύργος (two floors) were bought and re-built from my great grand father, Savvas. The struggles, though, did not end there as the house was burnt during the civil war in mid-1900s. Again the house was restored by my grandfather, Ilias, in 1962 until my mother Polly fully renovated it in 2010! Though completely renovated, the house keeps the architecture and layout of the region and features unique characteristics of its rich history such as embrasures or built-in chicken nests! The house is named after my mom as she is popular in the village, which makes it very easy to find if you ask for it!

The house is located at the heart of the village (settlement Fargianika), just a few meters from the main square (so, no hidden hills to climb!). There is one cafe in the village (50 meters away from the house) which also offer food upon request. There is two very nice restaurants around one to two kilometers away. In about 15 to 20 minutes you can reach the famous Kalogrea beach in Stoupa. Other beaches are 10 to 15 minutes away. The village is excellently located as you can enjoy your privacy and the nice breeze that the village offer while spectacular places and sights are near by. Overall, it is an excellent choice for those who want to relax and those travelers who want to explore Mani. You can reach the village by KTEL in case you do not want to bother renting a car!
