  • Summary:

    Plumeria in the trade winds and a playful honu-inspired interior set a warm tone for this Mahina Surf oceanfront stay. Two bedrooms, two baths, and five beds sleep up to six, so a family can spread out after a day on Maui's west side. Air conditioning is welcome after the sun, and an outdoor shower makes sandy returns easier before everyone gathers in the kitchen. The shared pool offers another place to cool down, while the ocean view stays part of the day from the moment you arrive. Take in Kahekili Beach Park, Black Rock Beach, or Kapalua Beach, all within four miles, then come back for a relaxed evening at home. This one suits families who want a cheerful, personal-feeling base near the water.



    The Space:

    Light, whimsical decor celebrates Maui's honu, beaches, and plant life without crowding the 747-square-foot layout. The ocean view greets you on arrival, and the full kitchen, cable TV, fast WiFi, and air conditioning make the inside time comfortable. An outdoor shower and in-unit laundry are especially useful after a sandy day with kids.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Mahina Surf enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool set along Maui's coastline, with garden grounds and a disabled parking spot for easy access. The beachfront location puts the water just outside your lanai, and grab rails support accessibility. A nearby laundromat adds convenience for longer stays at this 42 unit complex.



    The Neighborhood:

    The Mahina Surf setting keeps the shore close while opening up several good West Maui beach choices. Kahekili Beach Park is an easy pick for a long stretch of sand, Black Rock Beach works well for a snorkeling stop near Ka'anapali, and Kapalua Beach offers a quieter, postcard-worthy change of scenery. All are within four miles. When the day stays local, the shared pool and oceanfront grounds let the family get another swim without another drive. It is an easy place to use as a base for unplanned beach time.



    Getting Around:

    Kahului Airport is Maui's main airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring West Maui's beaches, dining, shops, and coastal sights. Plan on driving for most outings and allow extra time for traffic along the coast.

Fantastic condo

Great place for a family with adult kids. Beautiful location overlooking the pool and the ocean! Bonus was the turtles on the beach within walking distance from the complex. Great grill area. Easy check in. Would stay here again!

Great condo!

All four of us just loved this condo from the moment we walked in!! Beautiful view!! The breeze from the front windows blowing throughout the condo was perfect! We had a great stay and can’t wait to go back, we will definitely be staying here again.

Breathtaking

This location is the absolute best! Never got tired of the view. Easy to navigate everywhere from here and honestly you could be happy just staying put, which we did a couple of nights. Nothing beats grilling with a view like that! The condo is comfortable and communication is great from start to finish! The place was very clean and had everything that is needed to enjoy your stay!

Amazing location

We were so impressed with this property. It was probably the best condo we have ever rented. The property managers are great. Wonderful views of the ocean and great location. We loved sitting on the balcony early in the morning listening to the waves and enjoying the view! Various beach options within 5 minutes.

It was absolutely gorgeous! The property, the views and condo all top notch! Only issue bedroom windows face parking lot and street which made it loud with car traffic. Would consider staying again. Pool was nice and warm too. Able to see plenty of whales too!

Mahina Surf 215

We had a great time in Maui at Mahina Surf 215. We had 2 adults and 2, 17 year olds. We had plenty of room. We loved our mornings a and evenings on the balcony with the beautiful view.

View is priceless

Condo was clean and adequately furnished. No problems. Loved to atmosphere. Very friendly environment, quiet when it should be. The recreation area was awesome. Pool very clean ( water was too warm to be refreshing) , lots of seating, grills, and the view was perfect.

To start the location was perfect right in the middle of everything. No late parties or noise was great. The sea turtles and locals there were great and friendly. The property keep all of us comfortable from 67 yrs old to 13. Absolutely life changing

Great condo!!

It was an amazing condo the view is soo beautiful better than most resorts in my opinion. The condo was perfect for me and five of my friends. The only thing I would change was the fact that we couldn’t find any blankets and we only had two sheets on each bed but it wasn’t too much of a problem since the weather was pretty hot. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to stay at!

Wonderful home base to explore West Maui

We used the condo as a base to explore Napili and Fleming beaches, saw turtles just around the corner from the condo, and had a couple amazing dinners in Kanapaali. It’s a short drive there and to Napili, but there is not too much in the way of restaurants or shops in walking distance. We did hit Miso Phat for yummy sushi, and the Whaler’s general store - both walkable. The warm, ocean front pool and stunning views were icing on the cake for our stay. And the condo comfortably slept 5 adults.

Great for a family of 5 in a great location!

All the houses at Mahina Surf have ocean view, which is beautiful! We saw turtles all 7 days that we stayed there right by the condo, up to 15 turtles one day! Great location, only 5 min to my favorite beach (Napili), and walking distance (2min) to a small beach. If you’re not a fan of big crowds (hotels) like me, this is the perfect place to stay! The house even came with beach toys and beach chairs, which was a plus! Would definitely come back!
