Ancienne ferme familiale au cœur des forêts du Västerbotten

This farm in Västerbotten has been in the same family for generations. The house is secluded, nestled in the middle of the forest, with nature right outside the door. Summer nights are bright—at the height of summer, it barely gets dark—and during the darker part of the year, you can see the Northern Lights from the farm.



We've personally decorated the house with a mix of old and new, and we've preserved much of its historic charm. The farm comprises several older buildings and a large garden. During the growing season, you're welcome to pick vegetables from the farm's gardens.



Outside, there's a fire pit and plenty of space for dining and socialising. The forest and the farm's own hunting grounds begin right outside. During the season, you'll find blueberries and lingonberries in the woods and cloudberries in the marshes. In winter, the farm offers a true northern Swedish winter experience with plenty of snow.



The Kåge River and nearby forest lakes offer swimming and fishing, and you'll find Kågefjärden, along with the Skellefteå coastline, nearby for kayaking and swimming in the sea. The Svedjan farm dairy and summer café are within biking distance. In Skellefteå, you'll find Nordanå, with its museum and parks, and Bonnstan—a well-preserved church town. In winter, you can join dog-sledding tours and use the surrounding area's cross-country ski trails.
