« Beautifully designed c-can unit. Everything was well thought out. Our host supplied coffee, bottled water and canned beverages. Everything needed for the washroom was available. Great hot tub, bar-bq and hammock outside. Games, books, good TV streaming services. Very comfortable bed. Host also supplied a tent and all the gear for one person. Fire pit available but unfortunately there was a fire ban on while we were there. Highly recommend would definitely stay there again. »

« The location was stunning, very private as promised. BUT, this location is not for the faint of heart. It’s not very clean, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed or swept when we arrived, my husband had to spend 20 minutes with scissors removing all the hair from the vacuum before it could actually turn to pick anything up. « I loved this cabin in the woods near Metchosin. It was SO quiet, all I heard was the rustling wind through the trees and the birds. At first I had misgivings about it being about 1/2 hour from downtown Victoria, vs. being in the heart of the action. But then I talked to a new acquaintance who did rent a condo in a high-rise, and she commented about the sirens and revving engines and noise.
