Aster Abode is made for slow summer days in Joshua Tree - soaking in the hot tub after a morning at the National Park, gathering in the game room with the family, and ending the evening outside with desert and mountain views stretching beyond the fenced yard. Set just about 5 miles from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance and within walking distance to town shopping and dining, this cozy family-friendly home gives guests an easy home base for exploring the desert while still having plenty of space to relax.

The space
Inside, the home has a warm, comfortable layout with an open living, kitchen, and dining area designed for easy connection. The dining table looks out toward the desert landscape, creating a peaceful spot for coffee, meals, card games, or planning the day’s adventures. The kitchen is equipped with everyday essentials, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, tea kettle, cookware, dishes, wine glasses, mugs, and a Keurig coffee maker that works for both drip coffee and K-cups.

The living area includes a Smart TV and a relaxed gathering space for movie nights, downtime between hikes, or cooling off after time outdoors. With wall-unit air conditioning and heating, the home is set up for comfort across the desert seasons.

Sleeping arrangements
Aster Abode has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, making it a great fit for couples, small families, or close friends traveling together. The primary bedroom features a king bed, workspace/desk, walk-in closet, and mirrored dresser. The second bedroom includes twin-over-twin bunk beds, a closet, dresser, and sound machine, making it especially convenient for kids or additional guests.

The bathroom includes a shower/tub combination, toilet, and sink.

Game room and entertainment
One of the standout spaces at Aster Abode is the converted garage game room. This casual hangout area includes arcade games, a bar area, sofa seating, board games, and yoga mats. It is a fun bonus space for families, friends, and guests who want more than just a place to sleep after a day exploring Joshua Tree.

Outdoor living
The backyard is large, eclectic, and fully fenced, with open desert and mountain views. The outdoor space is landscaped with local succulents and desert plants, with seating areas where guests can enjoy the shade, watch for local wildlife, or unwind under the wide desert sky. Frequent visitors may include desert cottontails, squirrels, lizards, quail, and roadrunners.

The hot tub is located in the backyard and offers a relaxing way to enjoy the desert setting, especially after hiking, sightseeing, or exploring town.

Aster Abode is not pet-friendly. Parking is available for up to 2 cars in the driveway or the street parking space in front of the property. The home includes a washer and dryer, WiFi, Smart TV, outdoor seating, and family-friendly amenities.
