'So when I booked this resort through Expedia, the night I arrived to the resort I called the number and was trying to check in. It was a very unorthodox way to check in. Very confusing for my first solo trip and knowing how check out procedures work for a hotel. No one was available in “reception” meaning there was a note hanging on the “office” door. 'Hotel is old & could have been maintained much better—bathroom/shower old; air conditioner so noisy that it made sleeping difficult; breakfast was sparse—especially when stay was more than just 1 day.'

We paid $500 a night and when we got there we found out that other guests only paid $200. They had called directly and booked the same room at the hotel rate. When we spoke to the front desk, we were told that the manager has discretion to discount rooms when they have space. She said sometimes rooms have been as low at $100.'

'The hotel staff was very unenthusiastic. The checkout was with a guy in the computer . The staff seemed very confused . The breakfast was okay . The hallways smelled like absolute mold .they need to remove all the carpeting. Whole building has not been detail cleaned in too long. Must make improvements for all of our health'
