« Beds are hard »

« The South of Padre Hotel was a great stay for my husband and I! The rooms look a little outdated but I loved how comfortable the bed was, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. There was no free breakfast and the beach access was a little ways away (5 minute walk) but overall great stay, it was clean, comfortable and safe. I loved the full kitchen option, it felt like a studio with a living area, kitchen table, kitchen bed, and bathroom. »

« This is NOT a resort. They use that word to charge a $40 resort fee. I will never stay here again - it's essentially a motel. It's run down, unkempt, and there are really no amenities. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because there's a really nice kid that drives the parking lot shuttle (yes, the parking is so far away there's a shuttle). There's also a nice-looking pool, but with so many kids in it, it's not worth going to unless you have your own kids, too. For couples, I'd stay away....

« We got there and there was fans in our hotel room drying up either a leak or something. Told staff and checked in 4 hours after we were supposed to. Once we left and came back the room smelled of mildew. The floor was still soaked. I made the front desk aware around 11 and they said they would sent housekeeping who never showed up. Awful experience and staff was lazy and unhelpful »

« I liked it . Only complaint I have is for a 3 night stay they didn't leave enough toilet paper or trash bags. We had to buy our own »
