Whiteface mountain was about 15-20 minutes away and Lake Placid about 25-30. Lana was a great host. 'This was the perfect woods home. Close to hiking, biking, the Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, Whiteface - whatever we were looking to do, it was a short drive away. The pool and hot tub were great, although a bit cold as we were there later in the season.'
