Nestled in the desirable Jan Thiel area, this beautiful ground-floor, air-conditioned apartment offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Located in the gated Boca Gentil Resort, you can enjoy a peaceful, private oasis while being just minutes away from Curacao’s vibrant daytime activities and exciting nightlife. The apartment boasts spectacular sea views, with gorgeous sunsets visible from your own deck. Enjoy the tranquil environment, complemented by the resort’s lush landscaping and 24-hour security, ensuring a relaxing stay.

Apartment Features:
• Spacious Accommodation: This luxury suite features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests.
• Living Room & Entertainment: A large, air conditioned living room with a 65” Samsung flat-screen TV, Denon 7.1 surround sound system with Airplay, and free high-speed Wi-Fi (200 Mbps) to keep you connected.
• Fully Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen is open and faces the terrace, allowing you to enjoy stunning views of the sea while preparing meals. It includes modern appliances like a large fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine.
• Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with dual sinks, a shower, and a toilet, as well as twin box springs and a walk-in closet.
• The two additional bedrooms, each with two single box springs, share a second bathroom.
• Air conditioning is provided in all bedrooms for your comfort.

Outdoor Space & Pools:
• Private Deck: The apartment features a spacious deck with sunbeds and a large dining table. Situated higher than the road and surrounded by lush landscaping, it offers a great deal of privacy and beautiful sea views.
• Communal Pool: A shared pool is just steps away from the apartment, providing easy access for a refreshing swim while ensuring privacy as it is shared among only 12 apartments.
• Papagayo Beach Hotel Pools: A larger pool, as well as sun loungers, are available at the Papagayo Beach Hotel, located just a 5-6 minute walk from the apartment. This is for the use of guests from both Boca Gentil Resort and Papagayo Beach Hotel at no additional cost.
• Children’s Pool: A walk-in saltwater pool, ideal for children, is located right on the beach just beyond the Papagayo Beach Hotel pool, with a small charge for sunbed rentals.

Beach & Activities:
• Jan Thiel Beach: The nearest beach, just a 5-6 minute walk away, is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.
• Dining & Shopping: The beach area features a range of restaurants, from the affordable Zanzibar to more upscale options. You’ll also find a grocery store, dive shops, car rental agencies, a spa, and a casino along the beach. The laid-back Brisa Do Mar (Pop’s Place) offers delicious local fish dishes on nearby Caracasbaai Beach.
• Fitness & Wellness: A modern gym and sauna, The Challenge Sports & Health Club, is a 5-6 minute walk away. It offers daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly memberships (fees apply).
• Outdoor Adventures: Explore the nearby Caracasbaai and Spanish Water bays for sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking. History lovers will enjoy visiting Fort Beekenburg and the Quarantine Building, dating back to the 1700s and 1800s. The Jan Thiel Nature Reserve, with its birdwatching opportunities and scenic trails, is also nearby. Buggies and quads are available for rent for those seeking more adventure.

Additional Amenities & Information:
• Utilities & Rates: Rates include all water usage and up to 40 kWh of electricity per day, with any excess being calculated at $0.48 CAD per KwH, which would be charged separately. Most guests do not exceed this limit if air conditioning is used responsibly, and not left on day and night.
• Parking: There is one parking spot available for our guests at the Bayside parking lot on the west side of the property. You may park your car directly in front of the garage door marked with the number 2. Please be sure to park only in this designated space and avoid parking in front of any of the other numbered garages. Alternatively, you can also park for short periods on the street directly in front of the property, but please be sure not to block traffic.
• Safety Tip: If you plan on swimming in the ocean, it’s recommended to wear water shoes as rocks, coral, and sea urchins can pose a risk depending on where you enter the water.

Local Tips:
• Grocery Stores: Van Den Tweel, an Albert Heijn store, is just a 5-6 minute walk away, but if you have a car, the Vreugdenhil store offers better prices and is a 10-minute drive away.
• Mosquito Repellant: It’s a good idea to bring mosquito repellant, especially during certain seasons.
• Electricity Adaptors/Converters: The apartment uses 220V with European-style plugs (2 round prongs). If you’re coming from North America, you may need an adapter or voltage converter. Most phone chargers are dual-voltage (110V and 220V) and only require an adapter, but it’s good to check the specifications on your chargers. A converter and a 110V power strip are available in the living room.
