Introducing Sea Glass Cottage, an AMAZING 2 Bedroom/2 Bath ground floor condo with 10 ft ceilings, private patios for each bedroom and full OCEAN views from every room! Updated kitchen and bathrooms with beautiful granite surfaces.

This property is directly beside our sister listing, Sea Turtle Cottage, which can be found at VRBO #1146624. Both places are located within Turtle Dunes (Amelia Island Plantation), which is known for its quiet beachfront and the gorgeous, large Turtle Dunes pool (our favorite pool in the entire Plantation). Each 2 BR/2BA adjacent property is ideal for your family/friends to relax...OR rent both properties for wedding groups, reunions or large family vacations.

Complete decor makeover finished March 2018 by a former Southern Living employee. Please check out the updated pics! Restoration Hardware chairs, washed table, deep comfy couch, down-filled living room chairs, unique art and so much more. In addition, new linens, luxury Turkish bath and Southern Tide towels fully stocked.

We want this to feel like your family beach house. It needs to be comfortable… BUT a little bit luxurious too! We can’t wait for our guests and family to enjoy the finished product!

This is 4th time we have stayed at Sea Glass. We’ve always liked the furnishings and set up. The master bath is large with an excellent walk in shower. Especially convenient for our dog as we can walk him directly out patio doors to the expansive lawn area. Holly and Kris are excellent hosts…very accommodating and helpful.

Family Trip to Amelia Island

Overall, the condo met our needs for this trip. As a previous commenter wrote, there are some things getting very tired and worn. The couches and some appliances, like the dishwasher, are in need of updating or replacing. A small standalone cabinet in the entry would be a great place to have some food storage. The beds were comfortable and we had enough room for our family.We did reach out to the host and they were very kind and courteous.

Amazing Stay

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Glass Cottage. The unit has all of the amenities for a great stay. The views are beautiful. We will definitely be staying at this unit for future visits.

Somewhat disappointed

We really liked Turtle Dunes resort, the property was very quiet and well maintained. This condo was a little disappointing. We found that the kitchen trash was not taken out, icemaker did not work but had two ice trays you needed to fill. The master bathroom toilet was not totally clean and the sink in the spare bedroom would not lift or raise the stopper unless you reach und sink to let water out. The furniture in living room was not comfortable, could use a up grade. The tv in living room was a pain, it wouldn’t load Hulu due to not enough memory, figured that out and got it working. The positive was it’s on ground floor and short walk to the beach.

A bit of a disappointment

We picked this place because of the view. And the view from the patios was as advertised. Very pretty. The apartment was also very spacious. But it was quite far from all of the restaurants, shops and activities in Fernandina. So we spent a lot of time in the car. The location is better for someone who wants the resort experience rather than the Amelia Island experience.The communication was terrible. Answers to questions messages or even left on an answering machine - if they came at all/ came after 30 hours. So for example, I asked about coffee and no answer( they had a fancy grind and brew coffee maker but no instructions so ICouldn’t get it to make Coffee. They also had a Faberware K cup coffee maker but no K cups; I’d have happily bought some if they had responded to my questions But they didn’t. There was no body wash in the showers. There was no online or hard copy r commendations for what to do or where to go unlike the place we are in now for half the price . The condo is for sale and it seems like the owners or their management company have qlreqdy checked out.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay with our pup at your lovely condo. It was very clean, nicely decorated, roomy and comfortable. It’s really nice that each bedroom has a screen door to the patios with great views of the ocean and sunrise. The kitchen had everything you might need and bathroom had plenty of towels. There were chairs and beach toys also. We loved having the pool, tennis court, and walking trails throughout the Omni so close by. We will definitely stay again!
