Een fijn hotel met correcte beveiliging. Het ontbijt heb ik helaas gemist. Het is vooral een hygiënisch hotel! Mooie grote ruime kamer wat betreft de standaard kamer. En snelle service als je de receptie belt vanuit je kamer.

Прилетела на 5 ночей , в принципе отель не плохой . Только Внутри все старое. Старый ремонт. Но! Очень хорошая локация. Пешком можно ходить . Так же в отеле есть свой ресторан . Единственное очень раздражали горничные , стучались в 8:30 утра , а так все нормально.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, room service needs improvent with how the food is delivered. The food should be covered in order to keep it hot. Otherwise the food was prepared well. The walls are very thin i could hear guest's conversations in the next room which kept me awake until after 2 a.m. Otherwise nice property and conveniently located to where i needed to be.

Very welcoming hotel, I usually stay in Grand Makel when I come to Turkey. Staff are professionals and friendly, check in was easy with Emre, and the manager Burcu was amazing and she was making sure the guests are satisfied and happy with their stay at the hotel. Nice staff poor room condition phone and airconditioning not working in the room, pool spa not open even in hot days it’s always under renovation apparently, area around is good coffee shop restaurant bus train 5 minutes walking it’s definitely not 5 star maybe 3-4 star but over all turkey hotels are all over rated any hotel you chose take 1-2 stars away from what the state on the website. Never trust the photos of any hotels I have stayed in many hotels in Istanbul and Antalya none of them match the photos

This property I did not like it at all. Yes it’s convenient because you have restaurants very close to the hotel. Which is convenient. But is relatively far from the main area in Istanbul. The air conditioning system was horrible, did not cool the room at all. The Wifi connection was horrible.

I absolutely will be back, I enjoy my stay, the staff were extremely helpful. The only thing the I’m not used to is not ice machines…(I think that’s an American thing). But it was perfect. Do yourself a favor and stay here, the view is gorgeous as well. And room service, top notch!!

Mon mari et moi avons passé 5 nuits dans cette hôtel. Le seul point positif est qu’il est a 5min à pied du tramway T1 qui dessert les grands points touristiques et vous permet de ne pas compter sur les taxis (a éviter fortement beaucoup beaucoup d’escrocs !). L’hôtel est vieillot, les chambres pareil avec beaucoup de rafistolages, il y a que le restaurant qui est moderne mais cher pour ce que c’est. Cependant le personnel était sympa, sauf la jeune femme a l’accueil derrière l’ordi le soir, pas aimable du tout…

It was one of the hotels recommended to me during my stay to recover from surgery. The staff is friendly and very responsive to any issues you may have. It is within walking distance to public transportation, shopping, dining, a short drive to the hospital. If you're a vegan like me, a local grocery is right around the corner with plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit. Be sure to request a room on an upper floor to get the best internet connection as well as some nice city views. I recommend the Single City View. It's difficult to gauge size from the photos, but for a person traveling alone, it was very comfortable. The area seems quite safe and, as a single female, I was quite comfortable walking to and from this hotel both during the day and evening. As I made friends in the area, I didn't have time to check out the amenities, but I'm sure they are great, too. Again, I enjoyed my stay. I have recommended this hotel to several people on YouTube who messaged me about my experience, but I guess the best review I can give is to say that I plan on returning to Turkey later this year and if I do, I would like to stay at the Grand Makel again.

Ich finde es schade dass es nur türkische Programme gibt als ich in der Suite war hatte ich wenigstens die Möglichkeit Netflix zuschauen jetzt war es sehr anstrengend. Im Großen und Ganzen ok aber die Zimmer sind halt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Raucherzimmer wären auch toll oder zumindest auf den Balkon rauchen.
