This nicely decorated two bedroom, two bath villa in Shipwatch Wild Dunes, offers you everything you could possibly need during your IOP vacation and . The owners have just made various updates including new lighting and a new dining room and painted the various rooms. It overlooks and is only steps away from the complex pool and it is only steps away from the beach! The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, with crisp white cabinet and counter tops. The living room offers comfortable furnishings with a sleeper sofa, a new 50 inch smart TV and an HDTV with a Blu-ray player, and access to the private balcony. The guest bedroom has two twin beds with new bedding, new wood flooring, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, and shares a full bath with the hall. The master bedroom has a king bed with new bedding, a flat-screen TV with a VCR/DVD player, access to the private balcony, and has a private full bath with dual sinks and a walk-in shower. YouTube TV streaming service is available on all TVs. Access to the complex pool! WiFi. Linens. No Smoking. No Pets.

**ATTENTION GUESTS: During high tide there is minimal beach available for beach walking or lounging. Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. Please do not attempt to walk on the dunes or sand bags.**

There was an issue in the master bedroom with the cleanliness/water, and the door did not close properly. The sink in the kitchen was clogged and I had to fix it. The view and neighborhood was amazing. Some of the furniture was dirty.

Air conditioner worked! Clean, room better than expected, location great, pool and beach very nice. Would stay again. Only complaint, dishwasher didnt clean dishes and master bed was very, very uncomfortable.

Property was beautiful- and we had a wonderful time; however, condo internet was not good and coffee pots were not cleaned. We chose to go purchase our own coffee pot.

Issue with the night time emergency number

We rented this property managed by Island Reality off VRBO. This is a very nice property and has a lovely porch with views of the beach and pool. The check in process and staff in the main Island Reality group were very nice. Having the option of renting beach chairs and umbrellas was a great bonus. I had one (could have been a lot worse) issue. We had left the condo and forgotten the door code and were locked out. Of course this happened after the main office was closed so I attempted to call the emergency line. I was told, despite offering my name and reservation number, that the answering service had no record of my being a guest in the unit (I booked the reservation myself) and would not send anyone out to help us. They told us that we would have to wait until the morning for the main office to open for any further assistance. They also said there was nobody else I could speak with about the lock out issue. I am not sure if all of this was because I had booked through a 3rd party and I understand safety and all. But of course this was very upsetting that there was an answering center taking the emergency calls at night and nobody to assist us. Fortunately the nice on site police officer helped us and all was resolved. Overall this was a nice unit in a great location.

Wonderful Location

The location was really amazing, with excellent views and easy access to the pool and ocean. The furnishings and decor were outdated but still tastefully done. Some of the items are starting to show their age with general wear and tear. My biggest complaint was the internet strength. The most download speed I could get was 3MB barely enough to watch Netflix let alone a family with multiple mobile devices. We had constant issues trying to watch shows or do work from home. Nevertheless since it’s all about the location and the ocean it was only a minor inconvenience.

The property was well maintained and our Condo had beautiful Ocean and pool views. Perfect location to take daily exertions to downtown Charleston, museums and visits to Folly Beach along with visits to parks and museums. The Ship Watch facility gave us a beautiful environment to relax and enjoy the pool along with walks on the beach after a day of exploring all Charleston offers.
