We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable inconvenient to the beach. Pool was a nice refresher in the afternoon. We would stay again.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed there were many things to do inside the house such as games, pool table,books to read. A nice living room where everyone could gather. The house was very conveniently located clean and beautifully decorated. It was a delightful place to stay and so close to the beach.

Beach/pool towels would have been nice. We were disappointed by the backyard, no grass to lay and not enough chairs for all. Having guests buy trash bags was also a hassle .

Amazing Stay!

This was a great place for my family to stay. We were in SC for a family wedding. The location was perfect, right on the beach & the house had everything we needed - it was exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Christmas get away

The beds were comfortable, the couch was not. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for a crowd. The pool looked fun but not heated for winter. We enjoyed staying here and would stay here again.

Perfect Family Vacation Home with Children

Lots of space, well-stocked kitchen, practical furnishings, great front deck with plenty of seating, outdoor shower, and lovely pool in the backyard. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed in this house for my third time now. It's my favorite place to stay on the island. House had plenty of space for a large family and super access to the beach. My only complaint is very minor. I'd like to see more shelf space and towel hooks in the bathrooms. I'd highly recommend the house to anyone and I'd highly recommend Island Realty. I've used them probably 15 times and never had an issue one time.

Great house for a large group

This is a nice house for a large group. We were 11 adults, 2 teens and 2 little ones, but never felt crowded. Beach access is very convenient, and the pool and other amenities were comfortable and as advertised. We appreciated that carts, chairs and ocean /pool toys were already there if you needed some. The second fridge and the pool table were handy. We come to IOP often, and although this is not the most luxurious house we have rented, it is probably our favorite for the location/price.

Thanksgiving and 1st Birthday

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great property to host our family for Thanksgiving and my son's first birthday. We used every room and bathroom in this house. It would be super fun in warmer weather when we could have used the pool. My son took some of his first steps on the porch! I had noticed that one of the previous reviews mentioned that there were no outlets in the bathrooms and I was glad to see that that was addressed and the bathrooms had outlets. I only had a couple of critiques and they are minor. It would have been nice to have more towel bars in the bathrooms. One bar and one hook in the blue bathroom downstairs is not enough for 4 people’s towels. Also, the towels provided could be updated. They are tiny. We appreciated that they were provided but after drying my hair it was soaked! The glass door bathroom that is downstairs could use some serious grout cleaning in the shower and there is nowhere to put your belongings in the shower other than the floor. Another thing that would have saved us some worry is if the second fridge in the garage was mentioned in the amenities. Overall we would definitely recommend this property to anyone needing a large space to stay.

Good location but shows wear

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd year in a row staying here. Right Across the street from beach access, but there’s s beach access every 4-5 houses, so very convenient, 1/2 mile from the beachfront area restaurants. Last year we were thinking it’s in middle of renovation since nice updated bathrooms down stairs and one upstairs. The other bath between rooms is 1960’s looking, closet doors haven’t been fixed in over 2 yrs or more. Mismatched Old furniture everywhere but the biggest negative fir us this year was the lack of cleanliness. Glass table top in front of L couch was sticky and not even wiped off, food debris in the edge track, wood floors not swept or wiped up from spilled drinks. Close to half the kitchen utensils, knives and forks had stuck on food. Cutting knives were dull, cutting boards need to be tossed, we found 2 glass bowls we forgot and left last year. We left them again as the kitchen needs them. Lack of food containers for leftovers. It gets busy on the weekends when the local college crowd comes to the beach. We enjoyed IOP fir 2 yrs but the lack of cleanliness this last time will push us to vacation elsewhere.

We used the backyard a bit during the day. The first night we cooked on the outdoor grill. I enjoy an outdoor shower and this place has one. The younger people in our group walked to the bars and restaurants. Beach access is directly in front of this property. The kitchen had what we needed. We called Island Realty for more towels and they provided them promptly. My entire group had only positive things to say about the house. I highly recommend it!

September family getaway

Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious however the bathrooms could use a makeover. Pool is very nice, need a new table for the pool area. Front porch is very spacious but gets very hot when sun in shining on you. May need a roof or some umbrellas for that. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

There is no light over one dining table and an ineffective one in the wrong place for the other. Bedrooms lack a bedside table and light in many instances. There are no chairs in bedrooms and the small ones have only beds. Upgrading of the lighting and bedrooms would make the property much more agreeable.
